A Brooklyn judge has again denied bail for the sexy Vietnamese DJ who was busted at JFK last year while attempting to flee the country with her daughter.
Angie Vu Ha has been held in the Metropolitan Detention Center since her arrest on Nov. 3, and this is the fourth time a judge has denied the former Playboy model’s request for release.
Vu, 28, looked exhausted as she appeared before federal Judge Ramon Reyes on Tuesday, her slender but busty frame dwarfed by an oversize blue-gray correctional uniform.
The internationally known DJ faces parental abduction charges in France for failing to return her 9-year-old daughter to her French ex, Richard Frogger, who has custody.
Vu, who was once voted Asia’s “sexiest DJ,” faces up to three years for child abduction under French law.
The Department of State is still reviewing France’s extradition request, which it must certify before Vu’s case can move forward.
“Tell them I’m impatient,” Reyes joked to attorneys during Vu’s appearance in Brooklyn federal court.
Vu — who has modeled for Playboy and appeared in Internet films — was attempting to board a plane to China when she was intercepted by federal agents.
Her attorney Mia Eisner-Grynberg declined comment. Vu’s due back in court Jan. 13.
